The BSc IT and BVoc Software Development department of Jai Hind College aims at shaping young minds into becoming computer professionals of the future with our far-reaching curriculum and co-curricular activities. Every new academic year comes with a plethora of opportunities for the students.
The DOT COM CLUB being the official club of the IT and BVOC SD department is the club FOR the student band BY the students. Every year a new committee is formed which encourages every student to works fruitfully to be a part of it.
The club also organises their orientation in a fun and informative way which encourage the freshers and would give them and parents a clear schedule of life in the department. The department has its own annual only TECH FEST Cyberstrike

The Dot com Club is an entity of the IT and B.voc Software Development students that аre responsible for organising all the extracurricular activities and to provide our students with a bundle of opportunities.
From covering the admission process, to organising activities and workshops for overall skill enhancement,as well as executing CyberStrike-our department’s annual technical fest ,our range is limitless. Every year we step up to the latest trends and deliver utmost excellence.

450kgs of E-waste was collected
Competitions: Best out of E-Waste and Poster Making
Cyberstrike- 2019
Held on 18 and 19th December
Games – battlegrounds mobile, call of duty, csgo, fifa20, counter strike, escape, virtual reality, robotics workshop, etc
Cyberstrike - 2021
Held on 20 and 21st February. It was a Virtual cyberstrike
Games: Code mobile, valorant, cs go, chess, quiz, code wars, debate
E-waste - 2022
Held on 26th and 27th august
Theme: revive
306 kg of E-Waste was collected.
Competition: Best out of E-Waste
Games: ‘Flip the bottle’, ‘Roll the Dice’ and ‘Basketball
Cyberstrike - 2023
Theme: multiversal odyssey
Games – fifa22, counterstrike, mortal kombat, call of duty mobile, scavenger hunt, etc
E-waste - 2023
341.25 kilograms of e-waste was collected
Competition: Best out of E-Waste Drive was extended to Churchgate Railway Station to spread awareness among the people around us.
An educational seminar by Environmental Expert Ms. Rashmi Joshi raised awareness
